Happy Father's Day to all the Alligator Dads!

Our next meet is at Valley Brook on Tuesday. If you have not marked your availability for this meet, please do so as soon as possible today. Even if you are not attending, we ask that you enter that you will not be able to be there.

Their pool is at 100 Callender Road, Pittsburgh, PA. 15237. We will be warming up at 6:00 so please arrive by 5:45. Here's more info from our hosts for this meet:

• Parking. Our parking situation can be a little cramped, so we encourage car-pooling if possible. We have three different places to park on Valley Brook's property:
  • a small paved lot directly in front of our pool
  • a larger paved lot slightly down the hill from the pool entrance.
  • an overflow grass lot on the lower portion of the property (there will be a volunteer helping direct traffic)
  • to allow for emergency vehicle access (we do not anticipate a need, but still need to plan accordingly), please let your team know that they cannot park on Callender Road, the residential street leading to our pool, including the driveway on the hill.
  • Additional parking can be available on Goldsmith which may require a short walk down the hill to the entrance of our pool.
• Food.
  • The snack bar will be open for regular a la carte sales. Hamburgers, hot dogs etc.
  • Our snack bar will probably also offer some "quick grab" meals, but that won't be decided until the day of the meet
• Your team area.
  • As you enter the pool, your area will be on the left side of the pool.
  • Additional space is available in the lower field, but please note that it can be difficult to hear the announced events. (Andy's note: unless there is no room by the pool, please do not sit in this area and ask your children not to play in this area between events.) 
  • In order to keep the flow of the meet and our scoring table organized, we ask that your swimmers avoid the baby pool area.
